Retreat 2008-2009

Last October 10, 2008 12:00pm we departed for Betania Retreat House Malasag, Cagayan de Oro City. We stayed there until October 12, 2008 12:00pm. Our facilitator was Fr. Feliciano Marquez SSJ. We were accompanied by Sister Ma. Darby Faye Loquilliano, RVM and Mrs. Floribeth Lasaca, our adviser. At 5:00am, we are already awake for our bath. 6:30 am we said our Morning Offering. At 7:00am we ate our breakfast. Then at 8:00am we started our sessions. At 10:00am we had our snacks and 12:00 for our lunch. 2:00pm siesta, 3:00pm snacks and 6:30pm we had our dinner.

On October 11, 2008, we had the Sacrament of reconciliation. Our retreat wasn't called as something done exclusively for CKCians. Another group had our retreat with us..the St. Mary's Academy Carmen.

Our retreat was somewhat fun, heartwarming and irritating. There were few people from the other group that really get on my nerves. Their chaperon insulted us in a way that is so unjust. She only met us for awhile and then gets to judge us so rudely. She didn't even care if her students were dating during the retreat. She just told my classmates, "It seems you're not having a retreat. You're being so noisy. And it's not like you can prove something worth acknowledging." She said that in "Bisaya" of course. But whatever the case is she's being unjust.

Maybe her students didn't know what was going on. They only seemed to know that we're somehow angry at them. Sorry, but I think their chaperon was the culprit of the whole thing. She even told the Directress about it. I wish someone would tell her that Indecency is also not fit during a retreat.

Well enough of that....We miss you Father Cian!!!!
